The PARFORCE Red Kite damask knife is not only visually appealing. A refreshing design in which form follows function makes this knife not only a decorative piece in the showcase, but also a robust companion in everyday life, whereby admiring looks are certainly included. The first eye-catcher is the Damascus-style spear-point blade, in which 8 layers of steel have been forged on both sides onto a core made of 440C stainless steel. These layers consist alternately of hard, high-carbon material and soft, low-carbon material and ensure a high edge retention and elasticity. A generously dimensioned thumb rest, which was carved out of the back of the blade, gives the PARFORCE red kite its characteristic shape. The simple bolsters made of stainless steel go wonderfully with the decorative, very hard handle scales made of Swartzia wood. Pronounced finger grooves and finger protection, as well as the unusual shape give the knife an excellent hand position and prevent it from slipping forward. Elaborate mosaic pins, a brass lanyard hole and the leather lanyard with horn latch complete the elegant appearance of this knife. Supplied with a robust leather sheath with belt loop in a high-quality gift box.
