VANWARD Silencer Hunter Pro G2 cal. .30 M22x1

In 2025, the Norwegian titanium suppressor manufacturer Vanward introduced improved second-generation (Gen2) suppressors that provide even better sound reduction while maintaining the same size and weight.

The new Hunter Pro Gen 2 is an upgraded version of the already well-known Hunter Pro suppressor. Its internal design has been modified to achieve even greater performance. It reduces felt recoil and lowers sound by 32–36 decibels. In terms of size, it measures 21 centimeters in length and weighs 294 grams. The thread mount is made of acid-resistant stainless steel for long-term durability, and it can be replaced if necessary. Each suppressor also comes with a POM plastic ring that stabilizes the suppressor on the barrel.

The suppressor is manufactured from Grade 5 titanium. This material is extremely strong, lightweight, and resistant to both pressure and corrosion — the most common cause of suppressor wear. Its exterior features a 3D hexagonal pattern that not only improves its appearance but also reinforces the structure. This makes the suppressor safer, stronger, and more durable. The pattern also promotes more efficient surface cooling.

Titanium is one of the most corrosion-resistant metals on Earth. It withstands water, salt solutions, and powder residue. Studies show that combustion products from gunpowder do not adhere to titanium in the same way they do to aluminum or steel. Tests have proven that the suppressor remains fully functional without cleaning even after 8,000 rounds of .308 Win ammunition. Additionally, titanium’s melting point exceeds 1,600°C, meaning that even during rapid firing there is no need to worry about its precise performance, even when the suppressor becomes extremely hot.

Although our suppressors require minimal maintenance, it is still very important that the rifle is not stored with the suppressor mounted. The suppressor must be removed immediately after use, as corrosive gases from powder residue can form. These gases may damage other metals and alloys.
