Thanks to the composite construction, the weapon has special handling and ergonomics. The height of the zoom stock can be adjusted quickly and easily using a button, whereby the button is positioned in such a way that the line of sight can be precisely adjusted even when the camera is at the stop. In addition, interchangeable stock caps are used to compensate for the stock length and allow tool-free adjustment to the shooter's needs. In addition, the Jaeger NXT is equipped with soft-touch inserts that are extra grippy and can withstand any weather condition. The new fore-end geometry also ensures that the weapon is easy to grip and place.
Equipped with a milled Picatinny rail, optics can also be mounted easily and with repeat accuracy. The i-Sight sight also offers two options for hunting use: with or without sight. Without sights, the muzzle with an M15x1 thread can be used to use a silencer or a muzzle brake.
This version also includes a straight-pull torsion lock, which impresses with its brilliant ergonomics. The kickdown bolt handle moves the cylinder linearly while simultaneously rotating and locking the bolt in the barrel. In the final step, the bolt handle in the front third of the swivel range puts the system under tension and thus makes it ready to fire.
A chamber lock ensures safety, with a slider allowing you to choose between three positions:
• safe unloading position where the system is relaxed (left)
• red firing position (in the middle)
• Safety position that blocks the bolt handle (right)
