Semi-automatic rifle HAENEL CR223 Black At C.G.Haenel in Suhl, the first assault rifle in history was once developed and built by company boss Hugo Schmeisser – with the civilian CR223, Haenel is now continuing the long tradition of automatic and semi-automatic weapons from the region. The Haenel CR223 in .223 Rem. caliber is a rifle in the AR-15 class and is fully compatible with the basics (accessories) of this category of semi-automatics. The indirect gas-operated rifle is a Haenel in-house development. This self-loading rifle convinces with many detail improvements for police and authorities – and also for sport shooting. Training variants are also included in the range (UEB and MANIPULATION). Features: • Buttstock. Lightweight, modular and length-adjustable shoulder rest with height-adjustable cheek rest; compatible with AR 15 Mil-Spec. • System. Indirect gas pressure self-loader with firing pin safety. • Handguard. Toolless removable hand guard with mounting rails. • Trigger. Direct trigger with 3.2 kg trigger weight or as match trigger with 1.5 kg. • Magazine. 10-round magazine. Magazine mount compatible with commercially available M4 magazines. Higher magazine capacities available for authorities. • Silencer. Haenel recommends the use of B&T silencers. They are matched to the switchable gas pick-up of CR308 and CR300 and are functionally reliable.
